After dinner, enjoy a casual evening out in Carbondale with the bride and groom. We’ll be hanging out at El Dorado after the rehearsal – please come join us for drinks and catching up! Open to all.
Come as you are – any attire goes! Coming directly from the airport? Just meet us at El Dorado! But if you want to have a bit of extra fun, lean into the après theme and come dressed up – either in your Aspen finest (casual, yet fashionable) or retro ski gear/style. Rumor has it that there may be prizes…
**Après means “after”, as in this case – “after dinner”. In the winter, “après skiing” is a post-ski social activity involving having drinks and hanging out.

For those looking for a more low-key night, join the parents of the groom – Don and Sue Barnes – for a warm and inviting family welcome in their hotel suite. Gather and visit with one another, and in all likelihood, have a bit of friendly competition with games like Euchre. Snack and drinks will be provided by the hosts. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with loved ones before the big day.

Join the bride for a easy-paced 5K shakeout run around Basalt.
NOTE: Subject to change based on wedding day timeline. Kristin may be crazy/overly ambitious with this idea 🙂
